Local Specialties
DSA held its Inaugural Local Specialty on June 4, 1993. This event was chaired by Collen Goseth. The first Best of Breed winner was CH Whitecliff Kari Tai Mz Pazzazz, owned by Jayne and Sterling Clark.
FastCat
DSA held its Inaugural FastCat Test on March 2, 2024 at Arapahoe Park in Golder. This event was chaired by Tammy Linnert. Her committee consisted of Calla Compton, Elisabeth Walker, Alice Chiang, Donna Dannen and Lori Elvera
Summer Socials
DSA holds a summer social during the summer each year. The summer social activities varies year by year. Any DSA member and their Sammie may participate.= as well as Sammy owners in the community.
Holiday Parties
DSA celebrates the accomplishments of their Sammies each year during December. A banquet is held and awards are announced to those participating.
Parade of Lights
DSA has participated in many Parade of Lights events over the years. The Sammies and their handlers are always a crowd favorite. Any DSA member and their Sammie may participate.
Agility Trials
DSA held its inagural all breed agility trial on December 4, 2004 at Jefferson County Fairgrounds. The trial was chaired by Jane Reller. Her committee consisted of Martha Lageschulte, Andi Mast, Jan Cherne, Julie Morris, Sue Wangerin and Terry Walb
