DNA Collection Event

DSA is holding a DNA Collection Event

to collect samples for the

Samoyed Club of America Research Foundation DNA Bank

We are looking for:

  1. Purebred Samoyeds

  2. Any age (except puppies still nursing)

  3. Who have not previously contributed a sample to  the SCARF DNA Bank

9-Simple Steps for the DNA Collection Event

 

STEP 1

Read

Membership Letter about the DNA Event

STEP 2

Contact

Lori Elvera, DNA Event Coordinator at kenoshasam@aol.com to register your dog(s). 

Lori will reply with instructions to: 1) create your own SCARF DNA Bank database account, if you have not created one already, and 2) add your Samoyed's record to the database in order to complete the survey questions.

Things to have handy while taking the survey

STEP 5

Enter

Your dog(s) information in the database.

A web site link to the database will be provided to you when complete STEP 2.

STEP 6

Help file for cookies (if your computer is giving you trouble with the database)

STEP 7

What to bring on the day of the collection

STEP 8

Complete

SCARF transfer of DNA ownership release form

STEP 9

Complete
